Our mission at The Table For 12 is to connect people, one table at a time for ZERO PRESSURE connections! We don’t do name tags, no cheesy ice breaker cards, no assigned seating, nothing like that. We don’t need to. We are committed to keeping the club vibes as organic as possible and we know that a menu says a thousand words. You Simply walk in, your host will welcome you to the table, you introduce yourself to the people next to you, and let the fun and the food begin! The Table For 12 subscription is $40 per month or $400 per year if paid annually.
With your subscription, you will gain access to The Table For 12 community of pre-vetted professionals in their 30s & 40s who all share a love of food. You will also gain access to our calendar of dinners and events. Each month, The Table For 12 offers a minimum of three hosted events, which include monthly dinners with a twist at top-notch restaurants, and two other culinary experiences ranging from tasting menus to activity-based cooking classes. Additionally, you will gain access to The Table For 12 member-only raffles, discounts, and partnership perks. Our platform was built intentionally to help promote our members and their businesses. We also host a community on our website where you can connect with members after events, so you don’t have to worry about getting numbers.
Our interview process is friendly and casual. It supports our mission to foster a community of high-value, successful, well-traveled, educated, fun-loving, and down-to-earth members who are engaging.
The bill will be paid by The Table For 12, so nobody has to deal with any of the annoyances that come with the bill or splitting it. You will be charged an even split of however many people were at the table, regardless of what exactly you ate or drank. We will announce when the bill has been paid so those who need to jet can go, and those who want to mingle more can stay on their own tab. You will receive an email from us letting you know the amount each person owes and the people who you sat with by first name and last initial. An automatic deduction from your card will follow to cover your portion, making it seamless. Our members are responsible and respectful and do not run up bills for no reason as we are all in it together! Important: If you are not comfortable with splitting the bill evenly, or if you often concern yourself with who ordered what at the table, we kindly ask that you DO NOT join. This club may not be the right environment for you, and we will not be moving to or accommodating a model other than the current model of an even split.
All events are first come, first served, and we always aim for a 50/50 men to women ratio. We have a sophisticated waitlist system and are not motivated to keep people on waitlists. As we see the need for more tables, we easily expand to more events and more tables. You may see multiple tables at the same restaurant up; that is how we accommodate as we grow!
The Table For 12 believes everyone should enjoy good food, and we try our best to accommodate everyone in our restaurant selections. However, you will likely face the same challenges that you would at any restaurant depending on your dietary restriction.
