What is the cost?
The Table For 12 is a subscription of $40 per month (or $400 per year if paid annually).
What do I get access to each month?
This subscription membership grants you access to The Table For 12 monthly dinner as well as the 2 culinary experiences of the month. You will also have access to the community members on our platform, as well as the ability to be featured in our newsletter.
Who pays for the dinner?
The dinner will be split 12 ways, however, The Table For 12 will pay the check so there is a seamless experience once the dinner ends and we can properly say our goodbyes to each other. The tip will be 25% to account for the staff inconvenience when we switch seats. We will auto-deduct your portion after the dinner and you will receive a receipt from The Table For 12 in case you need it for your records or for a business expense.
What if I the monthly Table For 12 fills up?
The The Table for 12 monthly dinner will be first come first serve, however, we do try to keep the ratio of men to women even. Although not all people will be able to attend each month, we will have a wait list and will if we see the demand is needed we will be proactive in adding additional dinners each month. This is actually the best case scenario for us so we are driven to provide value every month on all ends!
I have a dietary restriction, can I still join?
The Table For 12 believes everyone should enjoy good food, so we try out best to accommodate everyone. In an effort to do this, we make it a point to only partner with restaurants that will offer their regular menu (not prefix), can accommodate basic substitutions due to things like allergies. As a rule of thumb you can figure the menu will be not different than any other restaurant you would go to since we intentionally do not have any set menus unless it is a special circumstance. We cannot guarantee that every restaurant or experience will fit your dietary needs so you will need to check the menu or event details before signing up, but we are driven to include as best we can!
What are the other culinary experiences?
These experiences are anything and everything food and drink! These range from everything to a visit to a unique ice cream shop, to a whisky tasting, to cocktail making classes and more! We want the experiences to be unique in one way or another.
Who pays for the culinary experiences?
What is the newsletter and what is my part?
The Table For 12 curates a monthly newsletter which will showcase the monthly restaurant and culinary experiences. The newsletter will include the profiles of the guests who attended dinner (to the extent that they want to be). You have the option to have your full name, photo, contact info, link to website, etc. if you see fit, or you can simply be first name last initial with a cartoon photo. The important part is the review each of our guests write where they write a short review of their favorite dishes from the evening!
The Interview
An interview process supports our mission and ensures a diverse and unique, yet harmonious, community of foodies at The Table For 12. The interview is a 5 minute zoom to learn more about our applicants.
