What is the cost?
The Table For 12 is an annual subscription of $1,500 per year, with the club hosting three dinners or events per month — every single month of the year.
Is this a dating club?
No, we are NOT a dating club, we are a club where members come to meet new friends, new love, or new business connections. The truth is many of our members want to meet people for multiple reasons.
What does membership include?
Membership grants you exclusive access to the Table For 12 community, its members, and access to all our monthly dinners and events. We are growing to have more robust offerings to include perks and we also offer a bespoke matchmaking service — however, this incurs an additional fee.
Are dinners included in the membership?
No, dinners and events incur an additional cost. Our average cost is approximately $175 per person for dinners or events but you will have the menus in advance so you can see how expensive the restaurants are.
Do I have to split the bill with strangers?
NO WAY — and we can’t think of anything worse! The Table For 12 pays the full bill the night of the dinner, so you can relax and just focus on meeting great people. We do an even split of the bill based on who attends. There will be no itemizing at all, we will do an even split of the bill regardless of who had what. Your portion is auto-deducted the next day, and you’ll receive an email with the dinner details and a list of who you sat with. If this model is not for you, we kindly ask you do not apply.
What is The Interview all about?
Here’s the deal…at this age and stage in life, nobody wants to waste their time. Our members are accomplished, grounded, fun-loving, and food enthusiasts, but they are also busy professionals.
We found that many times the social challenge is to get the right people in the room! We bring together a diverse yet harmonious community where meaningful connections happen organically and effortlessly all within our demographic of professionals in their 30s & 40s.
The interview helps us make sure every person at the table is someone worth meeting and that our members are personable, outgoing, and able to hold their own in a conversation.
I have a dietary restriction, can I still join?
YES! Most of our events use a regular à la carte menu. Occasionally, we host tasting menus or set courses with limited flexibility. You will need to navigate the menus the way you would normally depending on what your restriction is.
What if a dinner fills up and is sold out?
We have a great waitlist system. When someone cancels (and someone always does), our system sends automated texts and emails to wait-listers letting them know a seat has opened up and then it’s first come first served.
What if I cancel or can't make it to a dinner I signed up for?
We understand that things come up! For the best experience of the club and its members, if you need to cancel, simply email the host — this will trigger the email and text alerts to notify wait-listers. If no one takes your spot, you’ll be responsible for your portion of the bill as if you attended, though this rarely happens.
What is the matchmaking part?
It’s called People Pairing — our bespoke matchmaking service designed for members who want more intentional introductions within the demographic and member base of the dinner club. Whether you’re looking for love, friendship, or business alignment, we use a custom survey and private interview process to pair you with like-minded people in our vetted network.
This is an add-on service, available to members and select non-members who align with our values. You’ll only be matched with people we believe are truly worth meeting.
